Packaging Automation Product Spotlight: NASB-100

Automated Palletizing Systems

NOVA Automation’s Model NASB-100 finally solves one of the problems many industries have been trying to solve for years. Its design allows companies of all industries to finally stabilize tall pallets and minimize overhang on pallets. Also, when coupled with the exceptional performance of Kawasaki’s CP series palletizing robots, you can achieve a fully automated palletizing cell.

This automation gives you the footprint and stability needed to maximize downstream efficiency in the supply chain. The Kawasaki CP robot’s precision and speed allowed the system to palletize nearly any bag size up to 15 layers high, without any compromises to speed or stability. Don’t just take our word for it… see it in action.

Let’s dig into the key features of the NASB-100 Automated Palletizing Stack Box

It was designed to eliminate pallet overhang and stabilize tall loads and is ideally suited for bagging rates up to 1,420 BPH.

Our robot payload capacities range from 180 kg to 300 kg, meeting even the most demanding palletizing applications.

NOVA also engineered end-of-arm-tooling (EOAT) for all types of bags with optional auto adjust the head design to eliminating changeover for certain products.

Another great feature of the Kawasaki CP series robot offers a very limited maintenance schedule, requiring just greasing and changing the gearbox fluid every 5,000 hours.  Also, the robot achieves an industry reading 2,050 cycles per hour based on loads of 130 kg. It also comes with the Kawasaki teach pendant for ease of operation.

Lastly, the Model NASB-100 easily interfaces with new or existing packaging and wrapping systems.
